Notes:
After long time, today myself, akash kothe, omkar gadgil and pratik zoting visited ambazari lake. It was a wonderful feeling. we were welcomed by a family of grey francolin with 4-5 chicks and the wonderful osprey who was stretching its wings on its landmark osprey tree. it was a delight to watch him there again. i am sure its the same osprey that most of us spotted last time as we noticed that all the perching spots of his were exactly the same as last year. as we were walking along the lake side we suddenly saw a snipe who took off thus we managed to take its record shot. Also we saw 3 flocks of common pochards which were approaching the lake from Hingna side (total nos. approx 58). We couldn't spot the pallid harrier though which added to our disappointment ;) .Rest were regular sightings.
