Notes:
Today i alongwith Pratik Zoting, Akash Kothe, Sachet Khandeshwar & Omkar Gadgil visited Ambazari backwaters. It was a beautiful day for birding there. the attraction of the day was lone Painted Stork sitting on Osprey tree. Also other attraction was a lone black headed munia in the group of red avadavats. Constant calls of pied cuckoo were heard though we managed to spot only 2. 4 grey bellied cuckoo were playing around us for quite sometime. Also we managed to spot the highly camouflaged yellow bittern which was quietly sitting in reeds which appeared just like a reed initially. Unexpectedly we bumped in to two night jars which were so camouflaged that as it took off besides me with sound scared the hell outta me :P . Many Many grey francolin were running around here & there. Overall it was a good day for birding with some important data for record.
