Sterna albifrons, 23 cm.
Little Terns have been sporadically recorded in Nagpur though most books do not show it here - one theory is that they stay over for a short period while migrating whenever the rains in the central Indian region are heavy. In 2005 there was a flock of about 40 birds which stayed for about 3 weeks from 25th June to 17th July
There are also reports of breeding sites from Amravati district
Update 7th May 2006: Little Terns have been observed nesting at the Wena Lake about 19kms from Nagpur
