Knob-billed Duck (Sarkidiornis melanotos)

Found this single individual in a Ruddy Shelduck flock roosting near lake, Males are much larger than the female, and has a large black knob on the bill The Knob-billed Duck is declining in numbers locally, but due to its wide range it is not considered globally threatened by the IUCN, this was a open space and you don't get chance to go closer, by crawling I make this shot with the help of my birding friend Tushar Takale.
