Mr. Rishad Naoroji has written about a sight record from Bandhavagarh by Mr. Hashim Tyabji. but no account of the date..this seems to be the only previous sighting of Falco amurensis in central india. because of its migration route; which spans from amurland to arunachal, then across the peninsula, over the indian ocean to africa, it is quite possible for this passage migrant to be sighted anywhere in central india. but i doubt if there are other previous records. also, i'd like to add that it has been mentioned that amur falcons usually migrate in flocks of 10-15, but strangely, this female was solitary.
